RAMily,

We are truly living in unique times. The coronavirus pandemic is impacting everyone from our families, to our businesses, to our first responders who are bravely on the front lines. As the situation continues to affect our world, we wanted to reach out and update you on how we’re supporting our university, and our community.

The academic year at WSSU is unfolding in disappointing ways, with competitions, classes, performances, and events cancelled or postponed. Faculty and students are adjusting to the suspension of in-person instruction and the transition to remote learning and staff and administrators are tirelessly working to keep our campus safe. Please visit the university website for updated information and ways that we can support.

Above all else, our thoughts are with those affected by the virus, particularly those who are sick. We wish them a speedy recovery, and we remain inspired by our healthcare workers and others who are caring for people around the world. It is imperative that we take care of our families and the communities.

We are closely monitoring the updates of the pandemic we are currently facing. As of right now, our Annual Meeting is scheduled to be held on April 18, 2020. We will be closely monitoring the developments of the Coronavirus and will use good judgement as the date approaches. We will also be making adjustments to our office hours. Please know that we value you and some responses may experience delays.

Be Calm, Be Cautious and Be Confident and protect yourself and your family. I pray God’s healing and protection for us all.

Thanks,

Victor L. Bruinton
